Alpha - The Future of Alpha

Alpha has been running for the last few decades all over the world. What started out as a small group meeting to talk about faith and questions of faith has cascaded into a global organisation that has impacted millions.

Alpha wanted to communicate the opportunities they saw for the future of the organisation to their key donors to set a bold vision. That vision had to include real-world locations and real-world stories, told by the people who have lived them.

Working with our good friends at Peal Production, we became the Production and Post-Production partner to help capture and tell this story in a visually stunning but also authentic way that didn’t rely on fancy techniques but was rooted in a guerrilla-style of filmmaking.

We travelled with the Peal team to South Africa and Mexico to film and experience life for these communities and saw first-hand how Alpha can be a link to the community for care, clothing and compassion.

The result was two films. One, a longer form film that allows the stories of SA, Mexico and India breathe and a shorter edit with a fast pace, enhanced with stock footage to dial up the sense of urgency.

In addition to the shoot, edit and MOGFX, Studio 44’s lead composer Nick, created a bespoke soundtrack that perfectly accompany’s the longer 4 minute film.
